On March 7, 2012, Publix Super Markets, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend on its common stock of $0.59 per share. The dividend will be payable and mailed June 1, 2012 to stockholders of record as of the close of business April 30, 2012. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Publix Announces Annual Dividend
LAKELAND, Fla., March 7, 2012 — Publix Super Markets Inc. announced that its board of directors declared an annual cash dividend on its common stock. The 2012 dividend is 59 cents per share. The dividend will be payable and mailed June 1, 2012, to stockholders of record as of the close of business April 30, 2012.
