Depreciation Rate Stated Percentage
PSE&G calculates depreciation under the straight-line method based on estimated average remaining lives of the several classes of depreciable property. These estimates are reviewed on a periodic basis and necessary adjustments are made as approved by the BPU or FERC. fossil production assets—30 years to 67 years
nuclear generation assets—approximately 60 years
pumped storage facilities—76 years
solar assets—25 years
