Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. (the “Registrant”) today announced that, effective June 1, 2003, Rodney Cousens, the Registrant’s Global President and Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Cousens succeeds the Registrant’s co-founder, Gregory Fischbach, who has resigned the CEO position that he held since the Registrant’s inception in 1987. Mr. Fischbach will continue as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors.
