ITEM 8.01.   OTHER EVENTS
     As disclosed in the current report on Form 8-K filed on July 2, 2007, PAREXEL (Taiwan), Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the Republic of China (the “Company”), which is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of PAREXEL International Corporation, a Massachusetts corporation, initiated an offer (the “Tender Offer”) to purchase all of the issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Apex International Clinical Research Co., Ltd. The Investment Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs issued its approval of the relevant foreign investment on August 29, 2007. Accordingly, the Tender Offer period will end on September 3, 2007. The closing of the Tender Offer will take place no later than September 10, 2007.
