ITEM 8.01.  OTHER EVENTS
     As disclosed in the current report on Form 8-K filed on July 2, 2007, PAREXEL (Taiwan), Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the Republic of China (the “Company”), which is a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of PAREXEL International Corporation, a Massachusetts corporation, initiated an offer (the “Tender Offer”) to purchase all of the issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Apex International Clinical Research Co., Ltd. The Tender Offer was scheduled to expire on August 20, 2007, but due to the meeting schedules of regulators, the Company made announcements and filed relevant reports with the Financial Supervisory Commission to extend the Tender Offer period to the 3rd business day following the receipt of the relevant foreign investment approvals from the Investment Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs, but not later than September 19, 2007.
