ANNOUNCES PRICING OF ITS
COMMON SHARES OFFERING

Columbus, Ohio (May 19, 2009) - M/I Homes, Inc. (NYSE:MHO) (the “Company”) announced today that it has priced a public offering of 4,350,000 of its common shares at $12.50 per share.  The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 650,000 shares within a 30-day period, to cover over-allotments, if any.  M/I Homes plans to use the proceeds received from this offering for general corporate purposes.

The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate, with Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. serving as joint book-running managers.
