     Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (the “Company”), announces that Jeffrey A. Cole has been named the Company’s Assistant Vice President-Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, effective December 5, 2005. Mr. Cole most recently held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of George Kerasotes Corporation (GKC Theatres).
