ORGANIZATION	ORGANIZATION Investors Real Estate Trust, collectively with our consolidated subsidiaries (“IRET,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is a multifamily real estate investment trust (“REIT”) focused on the ownership, management, acquisition, redevelopment, and development of multifamily communities. As of January 31, 2018, we owned interests in 89 multifamily properties consisting of 13,786 apartment homes.
