Recent Accounting Pronouncement In April 2014, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2014-08, Reporting Discontinued Operations and Disclosures of Disposals of Components of an Entity (“ASU 2014-08”). ASU 2014-08 changes the criteria for determining which disposals can be presented as discontinued operations and modifies the related disclosure requirements. Under the amendments in ASU 2014-08, only those disposals that represent a strategic shift that has (or will have) a major effect on the Company’s operations and financial results will be reported as discontinued operations in the financial statements. ASU 2014-08 will be effective prospectively for annual and interim periods after December 15, 2014, with early adoption permitted.
