Item 8.01.     Other Events.

The Board of Directors of Macy's, Inc. ("Macy's") took action on February 28, 2020 to schedule the annual meeting of Macy's stockholders on May 15, 2020. The Board also took action to set the record date for stockholders to vote at such meeting to be March 19, 2020.
