On August 23, 2007, Yardville National Bancorp issued a press release announcing the declaration of a cash dividend of $0.115 per share payable on September 19, 2007 to shareholders of record as of September 5, 2007.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
