Item 5.02       Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On February 9, 2010, Gary G. Stephenson was promoted from the position of Senior Vice President, Generation and Marketing of DPL Inc. (“DPL”) to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Operations of DPL.  Mr. Stephenson will also serve as Executive Vice President, Operations of DPL’s principal subsidiary, The Dayton Power and Light Company (“DP&L”).

 

Mr. Stephenson, age 45, had served as Senior Vice President, Generation and Marketing of DPL and DP&L since July 2007.  Other information about Mr. Stephenson is included in DPL’s Proxy Statement for its 2009 Annual Meeting of Shareholders filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 18, 2009.
