On January 29, 2009, DPL Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.285 per share, payable March 1, 2009 to common shareholders of record as of February 13, 2009.  This action reflects the dividend increase announced by the Company on December 10, 2008, resulting in an annualized dividend rate of $1.14 per share.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

DPL Declares Quarterly Dividend

 

DAYTON, Ohio, January 29, 2009 — The Board of Directors of DPL Inc. (NYSE:DPL) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.285 per share payable March 1, 2009 to common shareholders of record on February 13, 2009. This action reflects the dividend increase announced on December 10, 2008, resulting in an annualized rate of $1.14 per share.
