Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 1, 2011, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a prospectus supplement to the base prospectus contained in its automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3/ASR filed with the SEC on November 18, 2010 (File No. 333-170686). The prospectus supplement relates to the shares of PGE common stock that may be offered pursuant to PGE’s Dividend Reinvestment and Direct Stock Purchase Plan.

This Current Report on Form 8-K is being filed to present certain exhibits that shall be incorporated by reference into the registration statement.
