  EACO Corporation (the “Company”) was unable to compile the requisite financial data and other narrative information necessary to prepare complete financial statements to be included in the quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended November 30, 2009, and is unable to file the periodic report within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense. The Company expects to file the report within the extension period.
