American Safety Insurance Holdings, Ltd.
Provides Estimate of Third Quarter Charge Relating to Severe Weather
HAMILTON, Bermuda, October 18, 2012 - American Safety Insurance Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: ASI) today announced that the Companys 2012 third quarter results will include pre-tax weather related property losses of approximately $2.0 million arising from the Companys dealer open lot program. For the quarter, the Company anticipates operating earnings per fully diluted share to be in the range of $.19 to $.21.
The Company expects to release third quarter 2012 financial results on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, after the close of the market.
