ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.

On March 30, 2020, in order to provide liquidity in addition to WEC Energy Group, Inc.’s (the “Company”) cash-on-hand, cash from operations and available capacity under its $1.2 billion revolving credit facility, the Company entered into a $340 million 364-day term loan that will mature on March 29, 2021 (the “Term Loan”). Proceeds from the Term Loan can be used for general business purposes, including the repayment of short-term debt.
