Shares underlying contingently issuable awards that have not met the necessary conditions as of the end of a reporting period are not included in the calculation of diluted net income per common share for that period. The Company had contingently issuable awards outstanding that did not meet the performance conditions as of May 1, 2016 and May 3, 2015 and, therefore, were excluded from the calculation of diluted net income per common share for each applicable period. The maximum number of potentially dilutive shares that could be issued upon vesting for such awards was 0.9 million and 0.9 million as of May 1, 2016 and May 3, 2015, respectively. These amounts were also excluded from the computation of weighted average potentially dilutive securities in the table above.
