On December 15, 2010, Charles D. Miller resigned from the Board of Directors of Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Miller indicated that he was resigning due to health reasons and not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
