Nature of Operations	Nature of Operations Penn Virginia Corporation (“Penn Virginia,” the “Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is an independent oil and gas company engaged primarily in the exploration, development and production of oil, natural gas liquids ("NGLs") and natural gas in various domestic onshore regions of the United States including Texas, the Mid-Continent, Mississippi and to a lesser extent, the Marcellus Shale in Appalachia.
