On October 4, 2005, Reebok International Ltd. (the “Company”) and adidas-Salomon AG (“adidas”) issued a joint press release announcing that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976, as amended, with respect to the proposed acquisition of the Company by adidas, had expired.

 

A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
