Subsequent Events	On February 5, 2015 all of the properties and related assets of DSI Realty Income Fund IX (the “Fund”) were sold to affiliates of Smart Stop Self Storage for an aggregate gross sale price of $22,793,000 (the “Sale”). The remaining property in Romeoville, Illinois will be sold for $3,380,000 as soon as necessary repairs have been completed. The Sale was approved by the affirmative vote of the holders of approximately 55.6% of the outstanding units of limited partnership interests in the Fund (the “Units”) in accordance with the proxy statement of the Fund dated November 21, 2014.

The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued.
