Item 8.01. Other Events.

On May 9, 2005, Novell announced that Richard Seibt resigned as president of Novell EMEA, effective immediately. Mr. Seibt was formerly president of SuSE Linux AG, acquired by Novell in January 2004. Until a successor is named, Mr. Seibt's duties will be assumed by Ron Hovsepian, president, Worldwide Field Operations.
