Declaration of Quarterly Dividend

At its April 29, 2015 meeting, the Company's Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its common stock, to be paid on May 27, 2015 to shareholders of record as of May 13, 2015.

The press release issued by the Company on April 29, 2015 announcing the foregoing event is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

SUFFOLK BANCORP DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

Riverhead, New York, April 29, 2015 – Suffolk Bancorp (the "Company") (NASDAQ –SUBK), parent company of Suffolk County National Bank (the "Bank"), announced that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its common stock.  The dividend will be payable on May 27, 2015 to shareholders of record as of May 13, 2015.
