(a)Global components operating income includes $8,166 and $12,477 related to proceeds from legal settlements for the second quarter and first six months of 2021, respectively (Refer to Note J). Global components operating income for the second quarter of 2021 includes $4,482 in impairment charges related to various long lived assets.

(b)Global ECS operating income includes reserves and other adjustments of approximately $29,858 primarily related to foreign tax and other loss contingencies for the first six months of 2020. These reserves are principally associated with transactional taxes on activity from several prior years, not significant to any one year. Global ECS operating income for the second quarter of 2020 includes $4,918 in impairment charges related to various long-lived assets.
(c)Corporate operating income includes restructuring, integration, and other charges of $4,478 and $10,187 for the second quarter and first six months of 2021 and $650 and $9,788 for the second quarter and first six months of 2020, respectively.
