The Newhall Land and Farming Company issued a news release on November 6, 2003 announcing that its unitholders approved the principal terms of the merger of NWHL Acquisition, L.P. with and into The Newhall Land and Farming Company pursuant to the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of July 21, 2003, by and among The Newhall Land and Farming Company, Lennar Corporation, LNR Property Corporation, NWHL Investment LLC and NWHL Acquisition, L.P.  A copy of the news release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
