Historically, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. served solely as transfer agent to the Schwab Funds family of funds (the Funds). However, effective July 1, 2009, the Funds appointed Boston Financial Data Services, Inc. (BFDS) as transfer agent for the Funds.
