21. Related Party Transactions

The Company provides mitigation bank credits, impact fees and services to certain unconsolidated JVs. During the years ended December 31, 2023, 2022 and 2021, the Company recognized $1.0 million, $1.6 million and $0.6 million, respectively, related to revenues from these transactions. There were no receivables with these unconsolidated JVs as of December 31, 2023 and 2022. The Watersound Management JV provides leasing management services for most of the Company’s multi-family communities. During the years ended December 31, 2023, 2022 and 2021, the Company incurred $2.0 million, $1.2 million and $0.5 million, respectively, related to expense from these transactions. See Note 4.
