Leases and Commitments Leases and Commitments
Xilinx leases some of its facilities and office buildings under non-cancelable operating leases that expire at various dates through August 2029. Additionally, Xilinx entered into a land lease in conjunction with the Company’s building in Singapore, which will expire in November 2035 and the lease cost was settled in an up-front payment in June 2006. Some of the operating leases for facilities and office buildings require payment of operating costs, including property taxes, repairs, maintenance and insurance. Most of the Company’s leases contain renewal options for varying terms. These renewal terms can extend the lease term from 1 to 15 years, and are included in the lease term when it is reasonably certain that the Company will exercise the option.
