SEGMENT INFORMATION

We define segment results as income (loss) from continuing operations before interest expense, interest income, other operating income, other income (expense) and income taxes, and include the operating results of non-consolidated affiliates. Intersegment sales of $24.7 million and $26.3 million for the three months ended June 30, 2014 and 2013, respectively, and $45.4 million and $43.6 million for the six months ended June 30, 2014 and 2013, respectively, have been eliminated. These represent the sale of caustic soda, bleach, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid between Chemical Distribution and Chlor Alkali Products, at prices that approximate market.
