XETA Technologies Announces
Fourth Quarter 2004 Earnings Release Date

Broken Arrow, OK—XETA Technologies (NASDAQ: XETA) today announced it will release fourth quarter 2004 results after the close of market trading on Tuesday, November 30, 2004.  The release will be available shortly thereafter within the “XETA in the News” section of the company’s website at http://www.xeta.com/t2_news.asp

Fourth quarter revenue is expected to be $14.5 to $14.9 million with earnings between $.0.02 and $0.04 per share.

According to Jack Ingram, President and CEO of XETA Technologies, “The fourth quarter earnings are lower than our previously announced expectations of $.05 to $.09 per share.  These expectations were predicated upon the historical trend of the fourth quarter being one of our strongest.  The expected year-end increases did not materialize.”

The company will host a conference call to discuss these results at 10 a.m. CST on Wednesday, December 1, 2004.  The dial-in number is 800-230-1092.  A replay of the conference call will be available beginning at 1:30 p.m. CST on December 1, 2004 and will end on December 8, 2004 at 11:59 p.m. CST.  The replay number is 800-475-6701, Access Code 750162
