Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

In connection with the management structure changes referenced in Item 7.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K, on December 1, 2021, Invacare Corporation (the "Company") appointed Geoffrey Purtill as Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMEA and Asia Pacific and notified Ralf Ledda that his service as Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA ended, effective December 1, 2021.

Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 1, 2021, the Company issued a press release in which it announced that it has streamlined its management structure by combining its Europe, Middle East and Africa ("EMEA") and Asia Pacific businesses and that Geoffrey Purtill has been appointed to oversee the operations in both regions. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

INVACARE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC REALIGNMENT OF EMEA & APAC BUSINESSES

ELYRIA, OH, December 1, 2021 – Invacare Corporation (NYSE: IVC) (“Invacare” or the “company”) today announced that it will be realigning its Europe and Asia Pacific businesses under a single leader to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.

To lead this strategic business realignment, Geoff Purtill has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Geoff brings a strong customer, supplier and employee perspective to the role having served the needs of more than a dozen countries with a wide range of cultural, product, market, and regulatory differences. His experience across a long and complex supply chain is critical at this juncture and will help the company to be even more successful in the post-pandemic environment.

“As we finish the second year in this challenging and dynamic pandemic environment, we continue to look for ways to satisfy our customers more efficiently and effectively to drive sustainable growth.
