In the third quarter of 2004, the Partnership agreed to a lease termination/buyout from one of the Partnership's major tenants. This termination payment had the effect of increasing total income. Additionally, in the third quarter of 2004, the Partnership adjusted the reserve for estimated liquidation expenses, which had the effect of increasing general and administrative expense. Further complicating comparisons between the two periods is the cost of new tenant buildout at the Partnership's remaining property. These buildout costs were expensed to general and administrative expense during the third quarter of 2004. Brauvin Real Estate Fund L.P. 4 (Name of Registrant as specified in the charter) has caused this notification to be signed on its behalf by the undersigned thereunto duly authorized.
