The name change was effected by the merger of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with and into the Company, pursuant to Section 253 of the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware (the "Merger"). The Company was the surviving corporation in the Merger. The effect of the Merger was to change the corporate name of the Company from "ODS Networks, Inc." to "Intrusion.com, Inc." On June 1, 2000, the Company issued a news release announcing the corporate name change of the Company. A copy of such news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 ITEM 7.
