10.SEGMENT INFORMATION:

The Company reports segment information consistent with the way management internally disaggregates its operations to assess performance and to allocate resources.  We regularly review our segments and the approach used by management to evaluate performance and allocate resources.  Prior to the current fiscal year, the Company’s business segments consisted of Marketing and data services, IT Infrastructure management, and Other services.  The Other services segment consisted solely of the Company’s UK fulfillment business, 2Touch.  On May 30, 2014, the Company substantially completed the sale of 2Touch to Parseq Ltd., a European business process outsourcing service provider (see Note 4 for further details).  As a result, in the current fiscal year, the 2Touch business unit is excluded from segment results and reported as discontinued operations.  The Marketing and data services segment includes the Company’s global lines of business for Customer Data Integration (CDI), Consumer Insight Solutions, Marketing Management Services (including the Audience Operating System), and E-mail Fulfillment and Agency Services.  The Marketing and data services segment also includes the recently acquired LiveRamp subsidiary.  The IT Infrastructure management segment develops and delivers IT outsourcing and transformational solutions.

Company management uses the revenues and income (loss) from operations of the remaining two operating segments, among other factors, for performance evaluation and resource allocation.  The Company’s calculation of segment income (loss) from operations does not include inter-company transactions and allocates all corporate expenses, excluding those reported as impairments or gains, losses and other items, as well as certain business separation and transformation expenses.
