Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.
On March 21 and 22, 2018, Brian Bird, vice president and chief financial officer, and Travis Meyer, director corporate finance and investor relations officer, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NYSE: NWE) (the “Company”) will be in Las Vegas, Nevada, meeting with analysts, investors, and other third parties, including giving a presentation at the Williams Capital Group West Coast Utilities & Alternative Energy/Clean Tech Seminar. During these meetings, they will be providing certain information concerning the Company in a slide presentation and will be affirming earnings guidance for 2018 to be in the range of $3.35 to $3.50 per diluted share.
A copy of the slide presentation is being furnished pursuant to Regulation FD as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference. The information in the slide presentation shall not be deemed to be “filed” for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject to the liability of that section.
