Item 7.01            Regulation FD Disclosure

On November 12-14, 2007, Brian Bird, vice president and chief financial officer; Dave Gates,vice president of wholesale operations; and Dan Rausch, director - investor relations, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NASDAQ-GS: NWEC) (the “Company”), will be meeting with certain shareholders and prospective shareholders to provide an update on the Company. The slide presentation that will be used is incorporated by reference to Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Form 8-K filed on November 5, 2007.
