Item 7.01  Regulation FD Disclosure

      On July 17, 2007, CalAmp Corp. issued an earnings release announcing
its financial results for the fiscal 2008 first quarter ended June 2, 2007.
A conference call with simultaneous webcast to discuss the financial results
for the fiscal 2008 first quarter and business outlook was held on the same
day. The transcript of the conference call is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
