G. PATENTS

During the six months ended March 31, 2020 and 2019, no patent impairment charges were recorded. For the six months ended March 31, 2020 and 2019, amortization of patent costs totaled approximately $27,000 and $23,000, respectively. For the three months ended March 31, 2020 and 2019, amortization of patent costs totaled approximately $14,000 and $11,000, respectively.
