Item 8.01  Other Events.



On July  11, 2019, the Board of Directors of Franklin Financial Services Corporation, declared a $.30 per share regular cash dividend for the third quarter of 2019.  This compares to a $.30 per share regular cash dividend for the second quarter of 2019.  The regular quarterly cash dividend will be paid on August 28, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 2, 2019.
