ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM Yonkers, N.Y., June 3, 2008 - William E. Griffin, Chairman of the Board of Hudson Valley Holding Corp., announced the approval by the Board of Directors to extend through September 3, 2008 the current program to repurchase up to 250,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $52.75 per share. The program was originally announced February 26, 2008. Prior to this offering, the stock price was $52.00 per share. According to Mr. Griffin, the Board has extended the repurchase program as a result of its continuing belief in the strength of the organization and its strong financial performance.
