At March 31, 2013 and December 31, 2012, the amount of deposits includes related party deposits, primarily brokerage customers’ deposits from Stifel Nicolaus of $3.5 billion and $3.3 billion, respectively, and interest-bearing and time deposits of executive officers, directors, and their affiliates of $0.1 million and $0.2 million, respectively. Such deposits were made in the ordinary course of business and were made on substantially the same terms (including interest rates) as those prevailing at the time for comparable transactions with other persons.
