Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On October 8, 2009, Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (the "Company") announced that David L. Omachinski was elected to the Company's Board of Directors ("Board") and reported this information on the Company's Form 8-K dated October 14, 2009. At the time of filing such Form 8-K, the Board committee(s) to which Mr. Omachinski would be named had not yet been determined and approved by the Board. The Company is filing this Form 8-K/A to report the Board committee assignments for Mr. Omachinski.

On December 17, 2009, the Board appointed Mr. Omachinski to serve on the Board's Audit Committee.
