Shuffle Master, Inc. (the “Company”) hereby provides the following update of its VendingData II litigation:

On Friday, December 17, 2004, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada denied VendingData’s two emergency motions to modify the preliminary injunction order which the court issued on November 29, 2004.

The Company hereby provides the following update of its VendingData I litigation:

The United States District Court for the District of Nevada set a trial date of May 23, 2005 for the trial of this case.
