Except as described herein, as of September 26, 2021, our significant accounting policies, which are detailed in our Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 27, 2020, have not changed materially.

The standard also simplifies aspects of the accounting for franchise taxes and enacted changes in tax laws or rates and clarifies the accounting for transactions that result in a step-up in the tax basis of goodwill. The Company adopted this guidance on December 28, 2020. The adoption did not have a material impact on the Company’s consolidated financial statements.
