Other	Other Severance Costs We recognized severance costs of $12.4 million in 2013, $12.3 million in 2012 and $10.0 million in 2011. In 2013, 2012 and 2011, these costs were primarily recorded in “Selling, general and administrative costs” in our Consolidated Statements of Operations. We had a severance liability of $10.3 million and $15.9 million included in “Accrued expenses” in our Consolidated Balance Sheets as of December 29, 2013 and December 30, 2012, respectively, of which the majority of the December 29, 2013 balance will be paid in 2014. Other Expense In 2012, we recorded a $2.6 million charge in connection with a legal settlement. In 2011, we recorded a $4.5 million charge for a retirement and consulting agreement in connection with the retirement of our former chief executive officer at the end of 2011.

Severance Costs
