Certain branch offices and equipment are leased under agreements which expire at varying dates through 2036. Most leases contain renewal provisions at the Corporation’s option. The total rental expense for all operating leases was $492,000, $456,000 and $498,000 for the years ended December 31, 2016, 2015 and 2014, respectively.

ACNB leases space at several of its owned offices to other unrelated organizations. Total rental income for these properties was $8,000, $27,000 and $132,000 for the years ended December 31, 2016, 2015 and 2014, respectively.
