     On August 9, 2004, Lipid Sciences, Inc., a Delaware corporation, issued a press release entitled “Lipid Sciences, Inc. Reports Financial Results for Second Quarter 2004.” A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
