Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 1, 2013, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. submitted a redemption notice to the institutional trustee for redemption of all of the outstanding $35,000,000 of TP Securities issued by MAF Bancorp Capital Trust II (the “Capital Securities”). The redemption price will be $1,000 per Capital Security plus any accrued and unpaid distributions to the redemption date of September 15, 2013 payable September 16, 2013.
