(b) On April 25, 2016 John R. Farris notified the Board of Directors of Farmers Capital Bank Corporation (the “Company”) that he is resigning as a member of the Company’s Board effective April 25, 2016. Mr. Farris is no longer able to serve on the Company’s Board due to time constraints resulting from new business opportunities and other personal interests.
